1. Social Work with Marginalized:

                     Papers in this sub-theme address social inclusion and exclusion of Tribals, Transgender, Disabled, Sex Workers, Dalits and Religious Minorities.

 

2. Mental Health and Social Work:

               This sub-theme address theories & strategies to improve mental health, Issues and challenges in empowering women, children, elderly and youth with mental health problems, Healthy work place – psychological health and safety, Mental health services , care and support programs – Recent trends.

 

3. Palliative Care and Social Work:

                  The needs and experiences of families and care givers, Models of care and service delivery, Multidisciplinary care of patient, Community Palliative care, Challenges faced by the social workers in providing palliative care.

 

4. International Social Work:

                 International Social Work highlights social work education innovations and challenges across countries, Innovate approaches in social work practice, Importance of culture and human rights in social work education and practice, working with refugees and immigrants, sharing of inputs and other related discipline and areas of practice for future partnership and collaboration. The aim of this sub-theme is to facilitate partnership and collaboration on education, training, and practice.

 

5. Environment and Social Work:

                       Environment and Social Work address social understanding of environment, impact of worldwide attention to climate change, a string of natural disaster, understanding the issues of environment, environment sustainability, preservation of environment, environment factors affecting the society.
